I just want to make a quite note to say thank you to small group of people that read my work, like my posts on social media or engage with me or the material in any way. Thank you so much everyone. I appreciate you all.

I have struggled a lot after the breakdown of my marriage. I was left without a job (I needed to sell my studio so had no place to train people), with a very limited circle of friends and battling my own mental health problems. Nearly all of it was my own fault and my own poor coping mechanisms, which I still struggle to deal with, and continue to work at. At one point I shared my work at one point with over 20 close friends and family, people I loved and respected and only two people even bothered to reply. I nearly gave up at that point. I was not writing for fame or approval but the constant rejection by everyone I cared about got almost too much to bear. I am glad I did not quit, I am glad I found my own inner voice, as most of those I trusted had no voice to give me. My writing has been one of the few positive things to come out of my life in the last few years and it brings me great joy to have people take an interest in my work. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

My work is strange, deeply nerdy, horny and philosophical, but it is all authentically me. Take it or leave it, most chose to leave it. Their choice, their loss.

I am over 80k words into the novel and going strong, I have two new long short stories close to completion I am very excited about. I will finish the novel and share my vision with the world. I have spent enough time hiding in the shadows. The Queen of Light and Shadows has no power over me, I will tell my story. I have written at least one chapter of the sequel novel and I have another prequel project planned in the same universe. If things go well I would love to commission some animation or a graphic novel set in the same world and I'm in discussion with Moon Chew to produce a whole range of the hymns, songs and chants from the novel and short stories, some in English as well as Mandarin, original works this time rather than covers. I'm just getting warmed up!

I would also like to extend special thanks to my Brother, Mother and my friend Jon for proofreading my work. You have my eternal gratitude. Thank you for supporting me and believing in me when I did not even believe in myself. None of this would exist without your support.
