Sapphire's three short stories are now complete and available for digital download.

Sapphire is a character close to my heart, a deeply damaged lady who is struggling with trauma and severe mental health issues. Her stories carry the themes of identity, trauma, sexuality and transformation.

Like all things to do with incredibly complex world of human sexuality her stories should hopefully have elements that are funny, scary, maybe even disgusting or arousing. They will vary in impact with both the reader and their own frame of mind that day. Hopefully she does more than just raise an eyebrow as there are very real and deep human experiences in her stories, some of which can be shocking or bizarre if you haven't had any first hand experience with them.

Whilst transferred into a cyberpunk setting the issues of both sex addiction and surgical addiction are real problems that I have experienced in paterners and wrestled with myself. Depersonalization-Derealization Disorder, is an extreme mental health condition but a real one. I have been with partners suffering from extreme paranoia and delusions, including those relating to the self. These are real issues and real human experiences that are incredibly traumtaic and isolating. Sapphire should throw a light onto this dark and often misunderstood world and hopefully bring some compassion and understanding, as well as maybe a laugh and a tear or two.
